I recently moved to a new house and I still have to use to the decorations that were made by the previous owner. One of the things that strike me the most are blinds on my windows, since I never had one. But now that I do, I simply love them. There are so many advantages in having blinds instead of curtains.
Just imagine what time do you have to spend maintaining curtains. You have to wash them in washing machine, beside the clothes that you already have too much. And I have to do curtains in well polished which means complicated schedule. Ah, its finally over.
I have custom vertical blinds here and they are placed here for a long time it seems. There is one bigger curtains but I took it down since I don’t want to maintain all that. It is too irritating for me. I am keeping the blinds only, its not like I will have a sand storm and every dust particle will enter my room if I forget to close the blinds.
Anyways, now I can have more time in home alone and I will use it to decorate a bit. I will leave bathroom curtains, since they are closing the window perfectly and I like to keep it open often, to vent it out a bit. I could not open and close blinds few times a day, so I will let them stay there.
I’m happy I no longer have to worry about this blinds or curtains dillema. And I don’t have to worry about washing them so often now I didn’t feel they give much to the room anyway. Now my new love are blinds. Definitely!

Hi, Thanks for the article I am constantly hunting for fresh thoughts on changing up a rooms look Seeing all the do it yourself TV shows has got me into taking on my own projects. I use to window shop shopping for pretty blouses at the mall, but recently I have switched to the tools section of Sears :p. My boyfriend and I now argue over who owns which tool – I get the quality power tools and he won’t stop taking mine!
